Murtala Sule Garo Sends Ramadan Greetings to Kano Populace
Former APC Deputy guvernotorial flag bearer Hon Murtala Sule Garo has urged Muslim Ummah to use the Ramadan pasting period in bringing themselves closer to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala.
Hon Garo stated this in a statement released today.
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah
I would like to send my greetings and best wishes to Muslims in Nigeria and across the world, as we mark the begining of the holy month of Ramadan.
This 30-day journey is remarkably an exceptional period in the religion of Islam.
Ramadan is a period of fasting and sober reflection, as the period brings us closer to Allah the Almighty.
I enjoy my Muslim brothers and sisters in Kano State and beyond to exploit this golden opportunity by maximizing the benefits of the holy month and to always heed to its values through seeking forgiveness, fervent prayers and giving alms to the needy.
I also urge the people of Kano State to pray hard for the prosperity of our dear state and the country at large.
