Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani, the 2023 governorship candidate in Adamawa State, has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Reports say, the former senator who represented Adamawa Central was seen declaring her support for the party while surrounded by a group of young people.
“We have joined the ADC, and we are ready to work within it. We pray to God to help us and separate us from those who pretend to be with us but are actually destroying the party.”
Binani had previously contested the 2023 election under the All Progressives Congress (APC), where she ran against Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
