Dan’agundi Hails Nasir Jao’ji’s Appointment as City Boy Movement Director in Kano
The Director General of the National Productivity Centre and Director General of the Tinubu Support Group (North West), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has congratulated Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Jao’ji on his appointment as Director of the City Boy Movement in Kano State.
In a statement issued and signed by his media aide, Dr. Dan’agundi described the appointment as timely and strategic, noting that it would significantly strengthen grassroots political mobilization in the state.
He said the decision reflects purposeful leadership and a commitment to placing capable individuals in key positions.
According to him, the City Boy Movement requires leaders with credibility, structure, and deep grassroots connections, qualities he said Hon. Jao’ji possesses in abundance. “This decision places the right person in the right position at a critical moment in our political journey,” Dan’agundi stated.
He further described Hon. Jao’ji as a seasoned grassroots mobilizer and a well-known philanthropist whose influence spans religious leaders (Ulama), traditional institutions, men, women, and youth across Kano State.
Dan’agundi noted that Jao’ji’s strong and enduring relationships across all segments of society make his appointment well deserved.
Reaffirming the political alignment of the Tinubu Support Group with progressive movements, Dr. Dan’agundi said the group has consistently supported the City Boy Movement and will continue to do so in advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He emphasized that unity, coordination, and sustained grassroots engagement remain critical to consolidating political gains in Kano State and beyond.
The Tinubu Support Group in Kano State assured Hon. Nasir Bala Aminu Jao’ji of its total support and full collaboration to ensure the successful discharge of his duties.
The group expressed confidence that under his leadership, the City Boy Movement would expand its reach, deepen its influence, and play a decisive role in strengthening the political base of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Kano State.
