Shekarau Passes Away at the Age of 72
A death has been announced of the former Executive Secretary Senior Secondary schools Management Board Mal Dahiru Shekarau.
Mal Dahiru Shekarau who was a seasoned administrator and a retired permanent secretary died at the late hours of Tuesday.
Dahiru Shekarau was an elder brother to the former two terms Governor of Kano State and former Minister of Education Mal Ibrahim Shekarau.
The funeral which held at Giginyu was well attended by many dignitaries including former Governor Shekarau, Executive Director Finance and Admin of Hadejia Jama’are River basin Hon Musa Iliyasu Kwankwaso, former Commissioners and permanent secretaries.
Mal Dahiru Shekarau survived with wives, children and grand children.
He was buried at the Giginyu Cemetery on Wednesday morning according to Islamic rites.
