Better Life for Women and Children Future Foundation Donates 33 Seater Bus to Kano State Government

Better Life for Women and Children Future Foundation has donated a 33 Seater Bus to Kano Government with the support of Muslim Charity Foundation, a UK based NGO.

Speaking during a brief handing over ceremony held at kano government house, the founder ‘Better life for women and children future foundation’ Ambassador Dr Samira Abubakar Abdullahi said, the bus was meant for the state ministry of humanitarian and desaster management for their ongoing almajiri project that is aimed at removing almajiris and street beggers from Kano roads which would help the ministry when moving them from one place to another.

Ambassador Samira added that, the donation came after their visit to the ministry of humanitarian affairs and the place where the ministry under the leadership of its Commissioner Adamu Aliyu Kibiya is keeping the Almajiris, they deemed it possible to provide a befitting vehicle that would be transporting the Almajiris. After the visit, her foundation  pleaded with the UK based foundation ” Muslim Charity” which they agreed to provide.

Earlier speaking, the Executive Governor of Kano Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf expressed his satisfaction and gratitude to Dr Samira Abdullahi, Better life for women and children future foundation as well as Muslim Charity Foundation for this kind gesture.

The handing over ceremony was well attended by the members of Kano State Executive Council.
