Kwankwaso Resigns as Kano Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development
Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso has resigned from his position as the Honorable Commissioner for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and as a member of the Kano State Executive Council.
In a resignation statement released on Monday, Kwankwaso described his decision as one taken “with a heavy heart,” expressing gratitude to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for the opportunity to serve the people of Kano State.
He thanked the governor for the trust placed in him and noted that his time in office provided valuable experiences and lessons. Kwankwaso also prayed for the continued growth and success of youth empowerment and sports development initiatives in the state.
“As I resign, I pray that the youth of Kano State will continue to receive the attention and support they deserve,” he said, adding that he remains confident in the future of sports development programs in Kano.
Kwankwaso concluded by offering prayers for continued peace and progress in Kano State, asking Allah (SWT) to shower His blessings on the government and people of the state.
He served as Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development until his resignation.
