Gov. Namadi’s Honorary Doctorate, a Well-Deserved Recognition of Visionary Leadership — Dan Agundi

The Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, has congratulated Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar A. Namadi, on his conferment with an honorary Doctorate degree (Honoris Causa) in Business and Sustainability by the Federal University of Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
In a congratulatory message issued to pressmen and media organisations on Sunday, Dr. Dan Agundi described the honour as a fitting recognition of Governor Namadi’s exceptional leadership style and his unwavering commitment to transparent governance and meaningful public service reforms.
According to the NPC boss, the award reflects the governor’s remarkable contributions to agricultural development and productivity, education, youth empowerment, and sustainable economic growth, not only in Jigawa State but across Nigeria.
“This prestigious recognition reflects your exemplary leadership and commitment to public service, youth empowerment, and economic growth in Jigawa State,” Dr. Dan Agundi stated.
He noted that Governor Namadi’s administration has continued to prioritise policies that promote accountability, discipline, and inclusive development, earning him respect both within and outside the state. He added that the honorary doctorate stands as a testament to the governor’s vision of building a productive, self-reliant, and prosperous Jigawa.
Dr. Dan Agundi, who joined citizens of the state in celebrating what he described as a “remarkable milestone,” offered prayers for continued wisdom and success for the governor as he drives his development agenda forward.
He further stated that the award is not only a personal achievement for Governor Namadi, but also a source of pride for the entire people of Jigawa State, inspiring confidence in leadership rooted in integrity and service.
