GOVERNOR NAMADI TO SWEAR IN 16 COMMISSIONERS DESIGNATE, WEDNESDAY JULY, 12TH 2023
Governor Malam Umar A Namadi will on Wednesday, July 12th 2023 inaugurate the 16 Commissioners designate earlier confirmed by the Jigawa State House of Assembly.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
The statement explained that the inauguration would hold at the Council Chamber, Government House, Dutse, by 11: 00am prompt.
It will be recalled that the Jigawa State House of Assembly ended the screening of nominees for Honorable Commissionership appointment on Tuesday 11th July, 2023 and approved all the 16 persons sent in by Governor Malam Umar A Namadi .
The statement said, “The Secretary to the Jigawa State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim , invites His Excellency the State Deputy Governor, Right Honorable Speaker, Jigawa State House of Assembly, the Chief Judge, Jigawa State, Honorable Grand Khadi, all Honorable Members, Jigawa State House of Assembly, Head of Civil Service, all Commissioners designate, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries Chairmen Local Government Councils, Royal Highnesses and top Government functionaries (specifically invited) to the inauguration.”
The names of the Commissioners designate are:

2. Prof. Hannatu Sabo Muhammad
3. Dr. Muhammad Abdullahi Kainuwa
4. Aminu Kanta
5. Mohammed Ahmed Garba
6. Ibrahim Garba Hannun Giwa
7. Dr. Lawan Yunusa Danzomo
8. Dr. Isah Yusuf Chamo
9. Sagir Musa Ahmed
10. Hadiza Abdulwahab
11. Col. Muhammad Alhassan (rtd)
12. Dr. Nura Ibrahim Dandoka
13. Engr. Gambo Shu’aibu Mallam
14. Auwal Danladi Sankara
15. Musa Adamu Aliyu
16. Muttaka Namadi
The statement directed the new Commissioners designate to be seated at the Council Chamber by 10:30am.
