Hon. Maipalace Reaffirms Commitment To Education, Renovates Classrooms At Zamfara Girls’ School

In a significant boost to the education sector in Zamfara State, the Chairman House Committee On Sports, Honourable Member representing Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency, Kabiru Amadu Mai Palace, has completed the renovation of six classroom blocks at the Government Girls Day Secondary School, Gusau.

The renovation project, executed under his constituency intervention initiative, is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the learning environment and improve the overall quality of education in the constituency.

During an inspection tour of the upgraded facilities, Hon. Mai Palace reiterated his dedication to advancing educational development in the region. He emphasized that investment in education is crucial to empowering the next generation and building a sustainable future for Zamfara State.

“Education remains one of the most effective tools for transformation. By improving school infrastructure, we are creating opportunities for students to thrive academically and socially,” he said.

The scope of the renovation included roofing repairs, repainting, installation of new windows and doors, as well as the provision of desks and chairs to improve comfort and functionality for both students and teachers.

Hon. Mai Palace further pledged to continue prioritizing education alongside other key sectors, stressing that no child should be left behind due to lack of basic infrastructure.

School management, staff, and students commended the intervention, describing the newly refurbished classrooms as a “lifeline” that will significantly enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
