Kano gov Congratulates Kano people on Eid festivals
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has congratulated the citizens of Kano on the Eid el Kabir festival.
In a statement issued by Hisham Habib Spokesperson to the governor, the governor urged muslims to remain steadfast and be supportive to each other.
Governor Kabir prayed for the pilgrims in the holy land for a safe journey back home.
He also stressed the desire of his administration to support health care, education, environment protection and agriculture.
He said the government will continue to emphasize on the welfare of the citizens
The Emir of Kano Alh Aminu Ado Bayero who received Governor Abba Kabir at Gidan Shetima, urged Kano citizens to come out and be counted in the next census to maintain Kano’s position as the most populous state.
This is the first Eid officially attended by the Governor after taking Oath last May.
