The Executive Director of Multi-Viva Media Concept Limited and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Feeds Newspapers Limited, Muhammad Bashir, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, MFR, on the conferment of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree by the Federal University, Lokoja.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Bashir described the honour as a fitting recognition of Dr. Adeniyi’s intellectual depth, professional excellence, and enduring commitment to public service.
He noted that the Customs boss has, within a short period, demonstrated reform-minded leadership that continues to redefine the operational ethos of the Nigeria Customs Service.
Bashir said Dr. Adeniyi’s leadership, anchored on Consolidation, Collaboration, and Innovation, has repositioned the Service as a model of institutional transformation, earning both national and international acclaim.
“Dr. Adeniyi’s pursuit of higher learning, while steering one of Nigeria’s most strategic public institutions, is a reflection of his dedication to continuous growth and his belief that leadership is most effective when grounded in knowledge and humility.” Bashir said.
He commended the CGC for exemplifying the values of integrity, intellectual curiosity, and public accountability, noting that his scholarly achievement further enriches the narrative of purposeful leadership in Nigeria’s public sector.
