I am deeply saddened by the news of the demise of our father, an elder statesman, business mogul and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata.
Alhaji Aminu Dantata died on Saturday, after decades of service to humanity.
His demise is great loss to not only Kano State or the business community, but also Nigeria in general.
During his lifetime he was a symbol of hope, philanthropy and dignity as he contributed immensely to the development of Kano State and Nigeria.
I extend my condolences to his immediate family, the people of Kano State and the entire business community in Nigeria.
I pray to Allah the Almighty to grant Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata Aljannatul Firdausi. May Allah the Almighty grant his immediate family the fortitude to bear this loss. Amin. MSG
