Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State have launched a nationwide tour aimed at documenting the achievements of former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
The initiative, which involves visits to libraries and media outlets across the country, seeks to highlight the key milestones of Yari’s eight-year tenure as governor.
Volunteers from various states are contributing to this effort, driven by a desire to showcase the positive impact of Yari’s leadership on the people of Zamfara.
Abubakar S. Limanchi, the state coordinator of the forum, explained that the goal is to create a comprehensive historical record of Yari’s achievements, particularly in leadership and infrastructure development.
Among Yari’s notable accomplishments is his election as chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), a role that underscored his leadership skills and his capacity to advance the APC’s presence both in Zamfara and nationally.
The supporters see this documentation as not only an acknowledgement of Yari’s contributions but also as a lasting testament to his legacy. They believe it is their responsibility to ensure that his work is remembered and appreciated for generations to come.
Through this tour, they aim to preserve his legacy while expressing their gratitude for his service to the people of Zamfara.
